# IPSC Stage Designer

> Browser drawing tool for IPSC stages: paper targets, steel, walls, fault lines and area polygons, saved on the user's account, exported as PDF. Experimental. It does not replace the federation's official stage drawing.

Resumo: o Stage Designer (stages.scoring.services) desenha pistas no navegador e exporta PDF. Qualquer conta ativa pode usar. Dá para vincular o desenho a uma pista de treino no ipsc.digital. Não é o briefing oficial da federação.

## What the user can do

- Create a match folder and several stages on a grid, with snap, zoom and a meter ruler.
- Place paper targets, steel, barricades, fault lines and area polygons from an IPSC prop library.
- Undo and redo.
- Export a PDF of the current stage, the whole match, or a short summary, for a squad briefing or the match file.
- Link the drawing to athlete training. "Vincular ao Treino" creates a training stage on ipsc.digital whose target count and shots come from the layout.

An active Scoring Services account is enough. The editor is not a public gallery of other people's stages. Do not assume a stage drawing is visible without the owner.

## What it is not

- Not the official stage document of a federation or a match organizer, unless the organizer chooses to use the PDF that way.
- Not a results system. Scores never come from the drawing. They come from import (`/docs/import.md`).
- Not the video editor and not the Match Editor.
- Still evolving. Treat missing props or export details as product limits, not as rules of the sport.

## How it sits in the ecosystem

Draw the stage here, practice it on https://ipsc.digital/, and after a real match analyze the imported scores on https://scoring.services/. The drawing does not create a match result.
